Third-generation gallium nitride switches run cooler and switch faster than silicon, which is why a charger capable of 65 W now fits in a 45 mm cube instead of a brick the size of a wallet. Power delivery is intelligent rather than fixed. Connect one device to USB-C 1 and it receives the full 65 W — enough to fast-charge a 14-inch laptop, a tablet or a modern phone at its maximum rate. Connect two and the charger allocates 45 W + 20 W; connect three and it shifts to 45 W + 15 W shared across the remaining ports, recalculating whenever something is plugged in or removed.

Compatibility covers USB Power Delivery 3.0 and PPS, so phones that expect a programmable supply charge at their rated speeds instead of falling back to a slow baseline, and the USB-A port handles QC 3.0 for older accessories, earbuds, e-readers and power banks that still live on legacy cables. Multi-level protection covers over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short circuit, and the housing is flame-retardant.
