The Pulse Watch S2 starts with the display, because that is the part you interact with a hundred times a day. The 1.85-inch AMOLED panel runs at 390 × 450 with a 60 Hz refresh, reaches 600 nits so it stays readable in direct sunlight, and supports an always-on mode that dims to a low-power clock face rather than switching off. The aluminium case is 9.9 mm thick, which is thin enough to slide under a shirt cuff.

Health tracking runs continuously rather than on demand. The optical sensor measures heart rate every second and records resting and workout trends, spot-checks blood oxygen in about 15 seconds, and monitors sleep stages — light, deep, REM and awake — with a breathing-quality overlay. Everything syncs into a single timeline in the companion app, so you can see how a late training session actually showed up in your sleep that night.

For training there are 110+ sport modes, automatic recognition of the six most common activities, and connected GPS that borrows the phone's position to map routes without draining the watch battery. A built-in barometric altimeter adds floors climbed and elevation change. Water resistance is 5 ATM, so swimming, surfing and showers are all fair game.

Battery life is 14 days in typical use, about 7 days with the always-on display enabled and roughly 20 hours with continuous GPS, and a magnetic charge takes it from flat to full in 90 minutes. Beyond fitness, the watch handles call, message and calendar notifications, music and camera control, weather, timers and find-my-phone, with a rotating crown for scrolling that works even when your hands are wet.
